I cannot be more positive in my view of the Willard Home Team and especially Mari Garcia. I began my connection with this group by searching the internet for someone I could trust and I came across The Dave Ramsey organization who led me to Willard who led me to Mari. My first contact with Mari was two years ago when all I was interested in at the time was what she thought my home would bring on the market at that time. After visiting my home she advised me on the current value, and that started a two year correspondence, with various texts inquiring about my decision to sell along with holiday greetings and other sincere messages offering her help wherever she could. In April of 2025 I had agreed to a lease/with and option to buy to a couple and Mari was available to help with that when ever she was needed even though that would have cut her out of the deal. Finally in May of 2026 my wife and I had come to the decision to sell, since the couple that had been leasing was not able to purchase the house at the end of the lease. My wife and I along with Mari then began the serious process of selling the house which was complicated because the renters could not provide the exact date they would be leaving. However, they did vacate the house before the end date of their lease, but left it with much to clean up before we could show the house. There was furniture left behind to get rid of, there were dead flowers to replant and Mari found people to help with these things as we had already returned to our home out of state. However, once listed, and followed by an open house, the house sold quickly; however, several offers were traded before an arrangement was finally agreed upon. Many other situations and delays occurred with the buyer that necessitated numerous emails back and forth and rewriting documents culminating with a final closing date late on June 18th which, because of the holiday, caused the funds transfer to be delayed until June 22nd. Without the knowledge, experience, and handholding of Mari I am quite certain I would have walked away from this deal on several occasions. To top it off, when the deal was complete, Mari thanked me! I've told so many friends that we hit a gold mine when we chose Lance to find just the right home for us so we can be close to our daughter in Clearwater and son in Tampa. Lance really gets to know his clients. Before anything else we met for coffee so he could educate himself, not only about what type of property or which city we were interested in, not even just what our interests are, but who we are as people. He's responsive, generous with his time and extremely knowledgeable about construction as well as the real estate market.
